Maestro goes to Joburg

Our Maestro team travelled to Gauteng this past long weekend for the Junior and Senior National Championships. We are proud to have had a total of nine of our Durban fencers take part in this competition – five of them competing nationally for the very first time!

Our fencers made us so proud with the six medals they brought home. We also have to commend their positivity, sportsmanship and fearlessness in the face of the pressure of a national competition.

A huge thank you goes out to our Maestro parents and siblings for their support and company throughout the weekend, for getting us where we needed to be on time and for keeping us all (including the coaches) fed and hydrated.
